Bohemian Blooms

Hatteras, we have two words for thee: Summer Love. Hatteras is those one of a kind places that sparks something inside of you unlike any other. It reminds of us of something out of a Nicholas Sparks book – slow southern summer days that boast gorgeous sunsets and create a love unlike any other.

We were lucky enough to cross paths with Larissa. We connected with her instantly – she was bubbly and nothing seemed to throw her, she was just thrilled be planning her big day in August.

Larissa and Brian’s wedding day was the textbook summer day. Sunny, light breeze, and they just so happened to be hosting it all outdoors at a soundfront event home. The ceremony took place around the pool, followed by a tented reception in the front yard.

The cool, calm and collected couple entrusted us with everything. They had ordered bulk florals, and we set up family style seating with lush green runners, gold votives, and even put together bouquets.

Larissa wore her mother’s wedding gown along with a Grecian inspired modern overlay, and a to die for lush floral crown. She was the epitome of a bohemian goddess. Though she remained the center of attention throughout, she shared her day with their beloved fur baby, Mattie.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed traditional southern bbq, cocktails, and acoustics. The party went well into the evening with lots of late night dance moves, and Britney Spears sing a longs.
