Blended Bliss
There is something so special about watching two families become one. It is one of the highs of our job, being able to witness this countless times. However, we're pretty sure watching two little girls finally become sisters takes the cake.
That brings us to Adam and Lindsey. Taylor met Lindsey's parents while they were eating at a local hole in the wall restaurant called Food Dudes Kitchen. They had just bought their first beach home in Kill Devil Hills, and after seeing them regularly they became good friends. When their daughter finally got engaged, we were honored to be the one they called to be their day of wedding coordinators.
Adam and Lindsey both had daughters they were bringing into their marriage and lets just say they were off the cuteness charts. What was even better, was that they loved one another just as much as their parents did and were proud to take on their new role as flower girls.
Adam and Lindsey were married on a hot July morning. After being pampered at their families new beach home down the street, the couple jumped on the morning wedding bandwagon and were married oceanside at 10:00am with 70 of their closest friends and family in attendance. After a short heartfelt ceremony in the sun, guests were welcomed into the pier for the cocktail hour and reception. The hall at the pier was full of round guest dining tables, dressed with white linens and sage napkins. Tables were fully set, with centerpieces made up of coastal lanterns overflowing with florals and candlelight. The decor gave off a soft, delicate and welcoming feel.
After guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the reception followed with a very fun lightheartedness. The DJ played country tunes, guests enjoyed a brunch buffet, and toasted the couple with champagne in fun colored glasses.
Blending two families isn't always easy. Adam and Lindsey, we were so happy to witness yours becoming one. We wish you two all the best!
